Trade association management software for corporate members and sponsors

A trade association’s members are companies with several contacts each, its revenue is a mix of dues, sponsorship and events, and its public directory is the reason suppliers join.

What usually goes wrong

  • 01

A member company has four contacts and the newsletter goes to the one who left two years ago.

  • 02

Sponsorship benefits are promised in a PDF and nobody tracks what was delivered.

  • 03

The supplier directory on the website is a static page that lists companies that lapsed.

  • 04

Events, dues and sponsorship are invoiced from three different tools.

A season with SupaGuild

  1. Setup

Import companies and contacts together; set tiers by size; define service categories for the directory.

  2. Renewal

Corporate invoices go to the billing contact; the primary contact sees the status in the portal; lapsed companies leave the public directory.

  3. Conference

Sessions and tracks on the event page, member and non-member tickets, exhibitor enquiries collected, badges printed from the attendee list.

  4. Sponsors

Gold, silver and bronze packages sold; each benefit has an owner and a due date; the exposure report goes to the sponsor before renewal.

Questions

Trade associations

01Can a company have several logins?

Yes. Each contact has their own portal login; one of them is the billing contact and one the primary contact.

02Can non-members be listed in the directory?

The public directory lists members in good standing. Prospects are kept in the register but are not published.
