SupaGuild

About

Made by sailors for the people who keep clubs running.

SupaGuild is the association management system of the SupaSailing suite, built in Palma de Mallorca by Design Excellent Group SL, the company behind UX Studio.

SupaSailing makes software for the yachting industry: separate applications for yacht and fleet management, charter, marinas, brokerage and shipyards. Working with clubs and federations around those businesses, we kept meeting the same thing: a volunteer board, a part-time office, and a member list in a spreadsheet that three secretaries had each coloured differently.

Generic membership tools helped with part of it and knew nothing about boats, licences, seasons or regattas. Association software built for large professional bodies was priced and sized for them. So in 2026 we built Guild: a module of the suite that handles the whole life of an association, from the public application form to the numbered resolution of the general meeting, with a member portal in the association’s own colours.

Nautical associations turned out to be the hardest case of a general problem. The same register serves a professional association that vets its members and publishes a public register, a trade association with corporate members and sponsors, a class association with its measurement certificates, an alumni society with its chapters and its annual dinner. In October 2026 Guild became SupaGuild, on its own domain, open to every association with a statute.

How we work

We are a small team. We publish what is shipped, we answer email ourselves, and we would rather lose a sale than describe a roadmap item as a feature. The free plan exists so that an association can test the product with its own member list, not with ours.

Principles

Four rules we build by.

01

One register, no copies

Every module reads and writes the same member record. If a feature would need its own copy of the members, we do not build it that way.

02

Your money, your data

Dues go into the association’s own Stripe account. Data is hosted in the EU under a processor agreement and exports completely, any day, from the console.

03

Say what is shipped

The features pages describe the product as it is. Roadmap items are called roadmap items. A board that chooses software on a promise regrets it at the first AGM.

04

Built for the volunteer

The commodore reads the figures on a phone, the treasurer approves a refund from the marina, the secretary sends the notice from the kitchen table. Nothing depends on the clubhouse desktop.
