Directory & map

A directory and a map of who is who

A searchable directory and an interactive map, public or members-only, where each member controls what is shown. Find a member or a service by name, category or area, from a phone on the dock or the trade-fair floor.

Public, members-only, or both

Decide which fields are public, which are visible to other members, and which stay with the office. A professional association can publish a full register of practitioners; a yacht club can show members only to members. Each member can still hide their own profile.

  • Service categories you define, such as surveyor, sailmaker, charter company, legal advisor.
  • Filters by category, chapter, port or area of the map.
  • A contact relay: visitors write through a form and the member’s email is never shown.

The map

Members with an address appear on an interactive map with clustered pins; a visitor zooms into a coast or a city and sees who is there. The map is also available as a widget for your own website.

Profiles members keep current

Members edit their directory profile from the portal: description, services, website, photo. Changes you mark as sensitive wait for approval before they go public, so the directory stays accurate without the office doing the typing.

Questions

About directory & map.

01Can the directory be embedded in our existing website?

Yes, on every plan. A two-line snippet embeds the directory, and the map, events calendar and application form widgets come with the Pro plan.

02Is the directory GDPR-compliant?

A member appears in the public directory only after granting the public profile consent, which they can withdraw in the portal at any time. Contact goes through a relay form, so email addresses are not published.
